Support Our Work
Three active campaigns, each rooted in the Strategic Plan our Chiefs and Matriarchs have guided. Every contribution moves this work forward.
Distant intermediary organizations and ENGO's lose donations to overhead before they reach the water. KHCC budgets a maximum of 12% of all grant, donation, and other revenue toward management, administration, grant writing, and guardianship processes. The substantial majority of every contribution goes directly into community infrastructure and programming.so your gift goes to those with the rights, title, and responsibility to act, not just the mandate to advocate.
Campaign 01
Ocean & Land-Based Youth Programs
Our youth are the ones who will carry this work forward. Starting this spring, KHCC is launching ocean and land-based programs across four northern Kwakwaka'wakw Nations: Kwakiutl, 'Namgis, Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw, and Quatsino, connecting young people directly to the water, the land, and the traditional knowledge that has sustained our people for thousands of years.
Your donation supports program materials, transportation, youth mentorship, and the guardianship training that lets the next generation step into these roles.
Every dollar goes toward getting young people back on the land and water where they belong.

Campaign 02
Food Hub & Traditional Harvesting Infrastructure
Food security is at the center of our Mission. KHCC is building a food forest and food hub in partnership with local First Nations, supporting traditional harvesting and preservation practices: smokehouses, steelhead farming, and the restoration of clam, oyster, and abalone populations at risk.
This work brings historical harvesting ways back, restores overlapping boundary protocols, and supports food sharing across surrounding communities.
Your support helps rebuild the food systems that fed our people since time immemorial, and will feed the generations still to come.

Campaign 03
Guardians on the Land & Sea
For too long, decisions about our territories have been made without us. KHCC is placing Guardians on the land and water: our own people, trained and present, watching over the resources that corporate extraction and mismanagement have already taken so much from.
This is how we ensure no further significant decisions are made without consultation, and how we begin to restore what stewardship over our own territories actually looks like.
Guardians on the land is jurisdiction in action.
